Windrush Triathlon is about more than swim, bike, run. It’s about community.
People join because they want to train consistently, improve, and challenge themselves - but they stay because of the people. Ours is a friendly, welcoming club where you can turn up on your own and instantly feel part of something. Whether you’re new to physical activity, have a few races under your belt, or you’ve got an international tri suit in your drawer, you’ll find encouragement, advice, and plenty of laughs along the way.
A Social Club That Trains Together
What really sets us apart from other tri clubs is our love for the social side of swim-bike-run. There’s always time for a chat on an easy run, a coffee after a swim, or a pint after a long ride. The club quickly becomes a familiar group of faces across all three disciplines - and often a ready-made social circle outside training too.

Behind our relaxed atmosphere is a deep pool of experience. Windrush has knowledgeable, accomplished coaches who help shape sessions that are effective, safe, and adaptable to every ability - so training is structured and purposeful, but never overwhelming.
Many Windrush members train and compete at a high level, bringing valuable insight into racing, pacing, technique, and long-term progression. Whether your goal is simply to finish your first event or to push for podiums and personal bests, you’ll be developing alongside people who know what it takes - and who are happy to share that knowledge.
This mix of expertise and approachability means you can take your training seriously without it ever feeling intimidating.
Support at Every Stage
From first-triathlon nerves to chasing PBs, Windrush offers guidance, experience, and reassurance. You’ll find advice on training, kit, races, and recovery - and people who genuinely want to see you succeed. Our WhatsApp groups are lively and a great place to find out more about the sport and organise social training together (bikes rides, runs or swimming).
Train at Iconic Venues
Windrush members benefit from access to sessions at two of South London’s most historic sports facilities, making regular training easier, better value, and more fun.
Herne Hill Velodrome - Club sessions at this iconic venue offer a safe, supportive environment to build bike confidence and skills, whether you’re new to group riding or keen to improve your speed.
Brockwell Lido - Our sessions offer some of the cheapest opportunities to swim in this beautiful 1937 outdoor pool, making open-air swimming more accessible and sociable year-round.
Affiliations and Partnerships
Windrush triathlon club has TriMark Bronze Club certification and is affiliated to British Triathlon and England Athletics which allows our members to participate in events. Plus we get great discounts from a number of our partners.

Membership fees
Membership is paid annually and runs from January until December. If you join after 1 August, your membership fee is halved.
£30 = Adults
£15 = Students 16+ and over 65+
£5 = Juniors 8-15 years
All non-Junior members can access our full training schedule. Session costs start at just 3 tokens (equivalent to £3.00) per session.
How to join
Step 1: Sign up on MyClubhouse
Windrush membership is managed through MyClubhouse, so your first step is to get registered.
Head over to the MyClubhouse registration page.
Enter your personal details, including your Date of Birth (this helps the system suggest the correct membership type, such as Adult or Junior).
From the Preferred Start menu, choose “As Soon As Possible.”
Select the membership type that applies to you (Adult / Student / Junior) from the Membership dropdown.
If you’re a returning member, choose “Annual Membership” to renew.
If you’re new to the club and want to “Tri” us out, choose “Free Trial Membership.”
If you’re registering a Junior member, please complete the Parental Consent Form.
For Junior free trials, please also email our Junior Coordinator at juniors@windrushtri.co.uk to let us know you’re planning to join a session. We’ll share details of the next session and happily answer any questions.

If you’re purchasing full membership:
Click on the shopping basket (top right corner) to pay your membership fee.
You’ll receive a payment confirmation email once it’s processed.
If you’re a parent signing up a second child, please sign out (top right corner) and then start a fresh registration.

Step 2: join the WhatsApp Groups
Session sign-up is managed through MyClubhouse but all club discussion happens on WhatsApp. Once you have joined, you can access the WhatsApp Groups page on MyClubhouse.
